Opportunity Abounds: EfficientGovNetwork Regional Collaboration Conference

Now more than ever, there is an opportunity to build and sustain local government collaborations in Northeast Ohio.
Local government officials across the region are encouraged to attend for the EfficientGovNetwork Regional Collaboration Conference focused on addressing the government collaboration goals of Advance Northeast Ohio.
The day-long conference, being held at the John S. Knight Center in Akron on October 13, is for public sector leaders and will feature experienced government officials and employees sharing practical information about implementing collaborative efforts in local government.
Featured speaker Randy Cole, Controlling Board President & Policy Advisor for the State of Ohio Office of Budget & Management, will discuss state legislative changes that enable and incent collaboration.
Other conference highlights include working sessions on public health, safety services, and public health; and new approaches to implementing mergers and sharing of ideas and best practices with peers.
Planned by the EfficientGovNetwork, a network of public sector professionals committed to increasing public sector collaboration in Northeast Ohio, the conference is being sponsored by The Fund for Our Economic Future.
